After months of collaboration, training, and creative exploration, the three partner schools from Poland, Greece, and Portugal involved in the Podcast Your School project successfully implemented 37 podcast projects.
The creation of podcast projects by teachers and students represented, in the project’s vision, the third and final phase of the activities—an application phase dedicated to putting into practice the knowledge and skills acquired through the e-learning course on podcasting for education.
Once the training period was completed, each school began to design and produce its own podcast projects. The result exceeded expectations: a total of 37 podcasts were created, each reflecting the unique interests and creativity of the participating groups. The topics varied widely—ranging from school life, local history, and cultural traditions to personal reflections. Some podcasts followed interview and journalistic formats, while others adopted fictional storytelling or thematic discussions.
The aim of this application phase was to develop digital skills in students and innovative teaching skills in teachers through a project-based learning approach centred on podcasting.
This objective was successfully achieved.
As the final part of the project, Podcast Your School will disseminate its methodology and results to other European high schools, encouraging educational communities to experiment with similar approaches. The experience has shown that, with the right tools and guidance, creativity can flourish—and every student can become a storyteller.
